Board of Directors

The current Board of Directors comprises 7 people including representatives from parents/carers and community organisations within the Illawarra. The CEO and Business Service Manager of Interchange Illawarra also attend Board Meetings.

How the Board connects

Bimonthly meetings provide a regular forum for contact with the Board and staff where information and feedback for the effective management of the service is presented. This ensures accountability and provides the opportunity for decision making and future direction.

Responsibilities of the Board

The Interchange Illawarra Board is responsible for the overall operation of the organisation including governance, policy development and future directions within the guidelines of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission, Disability Services Act and Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC).
