Kenny’s Year

2020 has certainly had its ups & downs – and nobody is more deserving of the ‘ups’ than Kenny!

Kenny has been using services through Interchange Illawarra since 2017, and receives both 1:1 support from his team, as well as support coordination from our wonderful Emma.

Kenny’s sister wrote to Interchange to let us know about the wonderful year Kenny has had, and to thank the team for his support during this unprecedented year. She wrote:

“I just want to say a massive thank you for all of your help this year! You have been a great support and my family are in a way better place than ever before, and you have been a big reason for this. 

“If it wasn’t for Emma and Kenny’s team working together, we would not have accomplished the great things we did, and Kenny would not be in a such positive and healthy place. Because of you and the boys, I have now been able to have my dream job in the disability sector as a support coordinator while still supporting my family.

“The Interchange family has been so good to me and my family that I give so much of my gratitude to the team for being with me every step of the way. I could not ask for a better group of people.”

We are so happy to hear this & see for ourselves the amazing things Kenny achieves everyday with both his family and his support workers.

Thank you so much to you, Kenny, and your family for working with us, and we are looking forward to seeing the great things that 2021 will bring!
