Partnerships

At Interchange Illawarra, we know that the best outcomes happen when people work together. We welcome partnerships with organisations that share our values. Through collaboration, we can create more opportunities for people with disability to live connected, meaningful lives.

Wollongong Mazda

We are incredibly grateful to Mazda Wollongong for loaning us a Mazda CX-80 for a two year period. This vehicle makes a huge difference, helping us to transport participants and with other work related transport tasks.

We truly appreciate Mazda’s commitment to partnering with a registered not for profit disability service like ours.

Thinking about purchasing a new car? We encourage you to visit Mazda Wollongong. If anyone connected to Interchange including staff, participants or families purchases a Mazda and mentions their association with Interchange Illawarra, Mazda will gift us a $500 fuel voucher. This is a wonderful way to support our organisation.

Good360 Australia

Interchange Illawarra is incredibly grateful for the ongoing support we have received from Good360 Australia over the years.

Through Good360’s donation program, we have received a variety of items that have directly benefited the people we support, including refurbished computers for participants and resources for our social support groups. One of the most significant contributions was the donation of furniture for our new community hub, The Wallis Centre.

Good360 connects businesses with charities and community organisations, ensuring quality surplus goods are redirected to where they can make the greatest impact. Their unique model creates a powerful circle of good, helping organisations like Interchange enhance services, create welcoming spaces, and provide greater opportunities for people with disability.

We are proud to partner with Good360 and sincerely appreciate their ongoing generosity and commitment to strengthening local communities.

Illawarra Disability Alliance

Interchange Illawarra is proud to be a founding member of the Illawarra Disability Alliance (IDA).

The IDA is a collective of local, NDIS-registered not-for-profit organisations working together to promote inclusion, choice, and opportunities for people with disability across the Illawarra.

Through collaboration and advocacy, IDA members work to strengthen the disability sector and champion the rights of people with disability.

The IDA also plays an active role in recognising important events, including International Day of People with Disability, helping to raise awareness and celebrate the contributions of people with disability within our community.

NSW Ports

We’re absolutely thrilled to share that Interchange Illawarra has been awarded a 2026 Community Grant from NSW Ports.

Thanks to this generous support, we’ll be creating a vibrant vegetable garden, complete with new gardening equipment. Even better, our participants will be hands-on every step of the way, from planting to nurturing and harvesting.

The fresh produce grown will be used in our cooking programs, giving participants the chance to create delicious meals, while any excess produce will be shared with participants and their families.

A big thank you to NSW Ports for helping us bring this project to life. We can’t wait to share photos of our growing garden and the tasty dishes it inspires!
